Social workers or social pedagogues (m/f/d) or equivalent qualifications


You will work in the state program "Youth Social Work at Berlin Schools" at a primary school following the school secretary model, supporting students in their school day, promoting their social skills, and working closely with teachers and educators.

You can contribute your own ideas and priorities to the design of your new workplace. A very good working atmosphere awaits you on site. Participation in further training and regular supervision are important components of our professional work.


Your tasks include, among others:


  • Individual and group counseling and support
  • Individual case work
  • Child protection
  • Participation in school development processes
  • Social training with groups
  • Conflict interventions and mediations
  • Prevention programs (to increase selfefficacy and social skills, promote democracy and tolerance, etc.)
  • Parent work/ accompanying parent evenings
  • Referral to specialist services
  • Networking

You bring with you:


  • A degree in social work or social pedagogy or equivalent qualification
  • Communication skills, flexibility, and willingness to cooperate
  • Independence and personal responsibility
  • Empathy and a respectful attitude
  • Interest in participating in school development processes
  • Ideally, experience in school social work
