    The hiring range for this opportunity is $82,000 to $115,000 annually along with incentive opportunities, creating a competitive total compensation package based on our pay scale, and may be modified by location and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.


    POSITION SUMMARY
    The HR Operations Manager will be responsible for the administration of various HR programs.
    The HR Operations Manager will act as resource and back up to key areas of the HR organization.


    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for updating and maintaining the Employee Handbook and Leader Guide for supervisors.
    • Responsible for oversight of the Banks' Leave of Absence program in coordination with Unum and Bank policies.
    • Administers the Banks' Quest Scholarship program.
    • Responsible for maintaining the Human Resources SharePoint site to ensure compliance with required notifications.
    • Responsible for ensuring appropriate poster distribution in compliance with state and federal requirements.
    • Serve as key contact for internal and external audits.
    • Support Director of HR Operations in litigation requests.
    • Partners with HRIS Manager to identify and implement process improvement initiatives.
    • Administers the Bank's Tuition Reimbursement program.
    • Provides support to the Compensation Manager related to job description review, determines grade and appropriate FLSA classification.
    • Responsible for administration of the Banks Equity administration in partnership with finance.
    • Partners with the Benefits and finance teams to assist with Benefit and Retirement Plan administration including 401(k) and ESOP.
    • Partners with Compensation Manager in incentive plan review and calculation process.
    • Acts as liaison between Bank and branch/dept. managers/supervisors related to the HR Operations functions.
    • Partners with HRBPs to support various initiatives between the Business Partners and the HR Operations team.
    • Maintains a current understanding of state and federal employment law including but not limited to Wage and Hour law, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, discrimination laws, equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) regulations, Sexual Harassment, Family and Medical Leave, California Family Rights Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), Employee Safety and Workers' Compensation.

    OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

    • May act in a support role for the payroll team.
    • Provides telephone support as necessary.
    • Performs other work-related duties and projects as assigned.
    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED


    • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
    • 7 years of experience in senior HR role.
    • SPHR Certification required.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to utilize personal computers and Windows driven programs.
