    Description

    Overview

    • Princeton University is in search of a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Senior Compliance Administrator, Research Integrity and Assurance (RIA), reporting to the Associate Director for Conflicts of Interest (COI).
    • The Senior Compliance Administrator will be responsible for developing and executing research compliance programs in various areas like the Institutional Review Board (IRB), the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC), and COI.
    • This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the university's research enterprise by ensuring a robust COI compliance program.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Timely intake and review of COI disclosure forms under institutional policies and sponsor regulations.
    • Provide support to the Associate Director regarding the COIR Panel by identifying cases for consideration.
    • Collaborate with the Office of Research Projects Administration on internal and external disclosures and COI training compliance checks.
    • Lead the administration of the upcoming enterprise electronic management system for research COI.
    • Respond to inquiries about conflict-of-interest policies and processes from faculty and research staff.
    • Contribute to policy development and assist with compliance monitoring by staying current with sponsor requirements.
    • Participate in educational programs and maintain detailed records.
    • Perform other assigned duties.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required, ideally in a scientific or legal field.
    • 5+ years of experience in conflicts of interest, research compliance, or related regulatory areas.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational, editing, and proofreading skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve problems under deadlines.
    • Experience in developing and implementing institutional policies and procedures.
    • Exceptional project management skills.
    • Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.
    • High ethical standards and integrity.
    • Proven ability to form partnerships with faculty for compliance objectives.
    • Strong training skills and commitment to professional development.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Post-graduate education preferred.
    • Experience in an academic or research setting.
    • Proficiency in attention to detail and record-keeping.
    • Background in online course and website content development.
