    Position: Trusts & Estates Administration Paralegal

    Locations: Hackensack, NJ | New York, NY | Boca Raton, FL | Palm Beach, FL

    Full Time: Yes (9:00am - 5:00pm)

    Hybrid (2 days remote, 3 days in office)

    Salary range: $100,000-$162,500 + Full Benefits

Our practice encompasses a wide range of legal areas including restructuring, construction, corporate matters, employment law, environmental law, litigation, real estate, taxation, estate planning, and white-collar defense.

    Ideal Candidate:

    We are looking for a Trusts & Estates Administration Paralegal with at least 5 years of experience to join our team at one of our offices in New Jersey, New York, or Florida. The perfect candidate will have a solid background in trusts and estates administration, with extensive knowledge of probate procedures in the respective jurisdictions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle all stages of estate and trust administration, including probate (knowledge of New Jersey, New York, or Florida probate laws preferred).

    • Maintain regular communication with clients, financial planners, and accountants.

    • Prepare federal and state estate tax returns and fiduciary accountings.

    • Manage the distribution of estate assets and trust funding.

    • Oversee deed work and other related assignments.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trusts and estates administration.

    • Excellent communication and mathematical abilities.

    • Solid understanding of estate tax software (ONESOURCE/Fast Tax), HotDocs, and Microsoft Word.

    • Highly organized with strong task prioritization skills.

    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

    • College degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred; JD/paralegal candidates will be considered.
