The Community Partner Program District Support Lead (DSL) operates under general supervision, with room for initiative and independent judgment. Reporting to the District Supervisor, the DSL supports Community Support Specialists, collaborates with various stakeholders, and promotes awareness of CPP programs.
Responsibilities include providing support to CSS, expertise in HHSC benefits programs like Medicaid, CHIP, and SNAP, offering consultative services, sharing best practices, and engaging with community partners. The role involves team support, partner recruitment, stakeholder coordination, program development, training delivery, and more.
The DSL works both independently and as part of a team across multiple office locations statewide. Community engagement and partner support may require flexible hours, and travel within the region is expected.

Essential Job Functions:
Program Support and Training (30%):
- Providing ongoing support, training, and technical assistance
- Conducting stakeholder meetings, program updates, and training sessions
- Representing HHSC at external events and workshops
Partnership Recruitment and Retention (25%):
- Assessing and engaging organizations in the region
- Recruiting new Community Partners and maintaining records
- Assisting with onboarding activities for new partners
Data Collection, Assessment/Evaluation, and Program Development (20%):
- Documenting program activities using designated databases
- Participating in evaluation and quality improvement initiatives
- Analyzing data and providing recommendations for improvement
Supervisory Support (15%):
- Assisting in the management and training of staff
- Acting as a point of contact in the absence of the Supervisor
Performs Other Duties as Assigned (10%):
- Supporting disaster response or Continuity of Operations activities
