    Technical Co-Founder - Confidential Computing

    Location: San Francisco, CA (or Hybrid/Remote)

    Are you a visionary in the realm of secure, decentralized computing? Do you have a proven track record of building transformative technologies from the ground up? We are seeking a Technical Co-Founder to join us on an ambitious journey to revolutionize the future of cloud computing through confidentiality and privacy.

    About Us:

    We are Novapolis, a pre-seed startup dedicated to creating a secure, private peer-to-peer cloud and community ecosystem. Leveraging the power of secure enclaves, our mission is to provide a platform where society can flourish and govern themselves, ensuring data privacy and security at every step.

    The Role:

    As the Technical Co-Founder, you will be instrumental in driving the vision and architecture of Novapolis. You will lead the development of our MVP and beyond, creating an ecosystem that supports community governance, global collaborative knowledge sharing, and much more. Your expertise will help us build a platform that is not only innovative but also scalable and robust.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the founder to refine and implement the technical vision and strategy of Novapolis.
    • Lead the development of the Novapolis platform using Rust and Fortanix to ensure secure, privacy-preserving technologies.
    • Architect and develop scalable, high-performance systems with a focus on confidential computing technologies.
    • Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, security, and data privacy.
    • Build and mentor a team of top-tier engineers and developers.
    • Engage with the community to understand their needs and integrate their feedback into the platform's evolution.

    What We're Looking For:

    • Proven experience as a senior engineer or technical leader in building and scaling complex systems.
    • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with secure enclave technologies (e.g., Intel SGX, AMD SEV) and Fortanix.
    • Strong background in Rust programming, cryptography, security, and privacy-preserving technologies.
    • Demonstrated ability to take a product from concept to launch.
    • Passion for decentralized systems, Web 3, open-source development, and community-driven innovation.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
