    Description
    Job purpose

    Responsible for all Fabrication and Revamp activity (Oklahoma City & Houston), order entry, mkt.

    share, and profitability Interface with the VP Operations, Director of Sales, Director, and Business Managers to ensure the success and profitability of the Department.

    Duties and responsibilities

    Supervises Compressor and Generator Engineering Staff
    Coordinate meetings with WPI personnel and customers
    Review and approve proposals prior to submittal
    Track fabrication labor and material expenses to ensure compliance with Scope of Work
    Assure promptness and accuracy of WPI Inspection Reports & QC
    Close Fabrication and Revamp orders as an internal function prior to invoicing
    Informs and negotiates additional work through WPI change order procedures
    Schedules Field Start-up services with the District Service Managers
    Meet all performance KPI's for the department.
    Represents WPI on project warranty claims as needed
    Develop and submit "Inspection& Test Plans" on request
    Familiar with Industry Welding and Vessel Codes
    Focus on improving efficiancies and margins.
    Know market values on used engines and compressors
    Develop and maintain WPI Quality Assurance Reports
    Negotiate pricing with Used Equipment dealers
    Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    High School diploma or
    Must have 10 years of previous experience OR Bachelor's degree(Engineering)
    Applied certification(s) preferred

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Ability to build and maintain good client relationships
    Must possess strong organizational and time management skills
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
