    Pediatric Child Abuse Division Chief in Coastal Charleston, SC - MUSC Health

    The Department of Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is looking for a Pediatric Child Abuse Physician at the Associate Professor or Professor level to serve as the Division Chief to the Division of Pediatric Child Abuse. The Division currently consists of one faculty member, seven advanced practice providers, five pediatric sexual assault nurse examiners, one telemedicine RN, and four program coordinator and medical assistants.

    The MUSC Child Abuse program is highly respected in the community for its expertise. It offers consultation for inpatients and clinic patients at MUSC Health in downtown Charleston. Additionally, the program conducts medical examinations at clinics co-located with Dee Norton Lowcountry Child Advocacy Center, Dorchester Child Advocacy Center, and a telehealth clinic affiliated with Hopeful Horizons Child Advocacy Center.

    Ideal Candidates:

    • Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Child Abuse Physician with leadership experience
    • Passionate about MUSC's educational missions and dedicated to teaching
    • Strong commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based medicine
