Great Neck Estates is offering an apprenticeship for the position of Machinist (m/f/d Machinists (m/f/d) manufacture tool parts, typically using computer-controlled milling machines.

By creating programs for numerically controlled production systems, setting up machines, and selecting efficient milling tools, machinists (m/f/d) not only check their own work, but also guarantee the defined quality standard of the products.

Apprenticeship:
Duration: 3 1/2 years

The apprenticeship takes place in the training workshop and various company departments. It is supplemented by one to two days of classes per week at the Carl-Miele Vocational College in Gütersloh. Technical basics and CNC knowledge are learned through computer training.

Final exams Part 1 and Part 2 (intermediate and journeyman's examination)

During the apprenticeship, two exams must be taken. The final exam Part 1 takes place in the 2nd year of apprenticeship after 1 1/2 years. The final exam Part 2 takes place in the 4th year of apprenticeship after 3 1/2 years.
