    Description
    Total Number of Openings 1 Chevron is seeking applicants for the Trade Compliance Analyst role until May 20th at 11:59 PM. The Trade Compliance Analyst focus is on ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures concerning International Trade (exports, sanctions), and Antiboycott Laws. The chosen individual will interpret, communicate, guide, and influence business units on various transactions triggering trade or antiboycott compliance requirements. They will work with business units and compliance analysts to implement international trade and antiboycott processes. Moreover, the position involves understanding the business unit's import/export activities and awareness of any Free Trade Agreements affecting business operations. The role demands strong written and verbal communication, analytical skills, good judgment in issue identification, a learning attitude towards compliance procedures, and leading trade compliance advocacy. Responsibilities may include: - Collaborating with compliance colleagues to establish procedures - Supporting business unit personnel on trade compliance - Analyzing business unit trade compliance risks and recommending corrective actions - Reviewing trade compliance requests for Chevron policy adherence - Coordinating with legal for activity queries - Supporting due diligence for third party risk assessment - Guiding compliance staff and business partners - Providing business guidance on reporting requirements and compliance initiatives - Monitoring and reporting on trade compliance metrics - Attending Trade Compliance team meetings - Assisting in closing trade compliance process gaps and maintaining audit documentation - Providing export classification guidance and aiding in contract trade compliance review Required Qualifications: - Associate degree - Compliance analyst experience Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - Three+ years trade compliance experience - Familiarity with U.S. export control laws - Experience in export classifications and customer due diligence Relocation Options: Relocation not considered. International Considerations: Expatriate assignments not considered.
