    Project Coordinator

    American Exchange Group is a leader in the fashion industry, offering a strong portfolio of widely respected brands including Aerosoles, Jones NY, Mudd, XOXO, White Mountain, Danecraft and Naturewell. Our brands span multiple categories which include fashion watches & jewelry, tech wearables, footwear, handbags & small leather goods, cold weather and fashion accessories, beauty & personal care.

    We are looking to welcome an ambitious new team member to liaise with managers and clients to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring that projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget
    • Coordinate the photography and retouching pipeline between internal stakeholders and external vendors
    • Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results
    • Assign roles and tasks to team members based on their individual strengths and abilities
    • Help build the skill sets of team members and share learnings with other employees
    • Achieve organizational goals while adhering to standards and best practices
    • Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirement
    • Develop and maintain project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones
    • Assign and monitor resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables output
    • Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to project work plan
    • Serve as point of communication between company teams and external resources
    • Deepen partnerships with outside resources, including third-party vendors and researchers
    • Work cross-departmentally to help collect and organize information from others

    Skills and competencies:

    • This is an in-office role, 5 days a week
    • 3+ years of experience in project coordination
    • Proven success in a marketing department or creative agency environment
    • Experience with Asana.
    • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strong organizational and detail orientation skills
    • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
    • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
    • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity
    • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to self-govern and continue to seek out new optimization opportunities
    • Attention to detail and deadline adherence is a must
