    Description


    The Senior Manager Compensation will provide overall strategic oversight and guidance for the company's approach to compensation in the US and Canada.

    Our client is a multi-billion dollar, global diversified industrial. This role will report to the CHRO and be part of the HR executive staff.

    The compensation leader will develop and implement compensation programs including salary, bonus, equity plans, and other programs.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven history of influencing executive leadership with a combination of deep subject matter expertise and relationship-building abilities from the Board level down into the organization.

    The person must have passion for creating programs that contribute to a great company culture and align well to local competitive environments.

    Responsibilities

    General Employee Compensation Process & Policies targeted to manufacturing organizations.
    Design commission, sales incentive and other variable compensation plans as required for changing business demands and operating model Executive Compensation
    Knowledge of all related compensation and rewards policies related to governing bodies, regulations and organized contingents.
    Review current compensation programs; lead the proposal, development, and implementation of necessary.
    In partnership with legal counsel, coordinate preparation of executive compensation disclosure information required.
    Ability to provide quarterly updates to the executive leadership group as well as periodic presentation to the Board of Directors
    Lead successful annual compensation planning including the execution of base salary, bonus, awards and all related communications and administration.
    Provide thought leadership on compensation issues including new hire packages, performance recognition, incentive plans, retention arrangements and compensation structure.
    Establish compensation budgets and guidelines for locations
    Establish and maintain alignment between performance management and succession planning processes and pay programs.
    Extensive technical knowledge of all aspects of compensation
    Proven track record of delivering compensation strategies.
    Experience working with best practices and knowledgeable of industry trends.
    Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders; consultative and collaborative style that allows for influence without authority
    Extraordinary communication skills – both verbal and written
