    Description

    We are looking for a Senior Service Manager in Transport/Telephony at McKesson's US Oncology IT support organization!

    The selected candidate will oversee the transport and telecom systems for US Oncology practices, ensuring they meet McKesson standards. Duties include managing service roadmaps, collaborating with stakeholders, and working on projects with the PMO and McKesson Technology Service Delivery teams. The role involves supporting various USON Physician Practices, Joint Ventures, and IT groups across the United States.

    Working closely with McKesson Technology Partners and IT leadership, the Service Manager will align the telecom program with unified objectives. Ideal candidates should have expertise in legacy and modern transport and telecom technologies, ensuring quality delivery of services such as Data, Voice, Unified Communications, and Contact Center services.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Ownership of Major Incident Management (MIM)
    • Assisting Operations Manager with escalations and technology recommendations
    • Providing support for USON Practices and ensuring service stability and compliance
    • Offering asset data, service guides, and catalog information to enable self-service requests
    • Maintaining documentation and providing metrics on KPIs
    • Collaborating with internal and external partners on strategic initiatives
    • Driving the adoption of UCaaS/CCaaS services and improving patient experience
    • Supporting network technologies for Voice, Unified Communications, and Contact Center
    • Managing cellular service program and improving Telecom expense management
    • Leading telecom portfolio initiatives with a focus on achieving targets

    Minimum Requirements: Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience.

    Critical Skills

    • Experience with PBX and VoIP Troubleshooting
    • Experience in rolling out Telephony Refresh Programs
    • Good understanding of network technologies and security
    • Strong knowledge of UCaaS/CCaaS services and Contact Center services

    Additional Skills

    • Understanding of healthcare and software industries
    • Strong communication skills and solution-oriented mindset
    • Self-motivated team player who can handle multiple work streams
    • 4-year degree or equivalent experience required
