    Business Development Representative (BDR)

    About Housable

    Housable is a housing development platform for real estate owners, backed by visionary investors behind the likes of Uber, Postmates, and Intercom. We're already working with the largest owners and operators to design, permit, and build homes across California. With more than 500 projects already underway, we're expanding our team to accelerate housing development across the state and beyond. We are looking for people who have an entrepreneurial spirit and want to make an impact on this market.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and prospect new leads with outbound sales and marketing methods.
    • Develop new sales and marketing strategies to best reach our target customers.
    • Outreach to prospects, warming up prospects into qualified leads.
    • Preparing presentations, proposals, and marketing content to follow up with prospects.
    • Working with our Project Managers to ensure successful onboarding of new customers.
    • Develop new channels of distribution to reach our target customers.
    • Follow up with existing customers to ensure success and expand sales over time.

    Experience

    • Minimum two years of experience in outbound sales in the CRE/AEC industry.
    • Strong communication skills with complete CRE/AEC industry vocabulary.
    • Minimum two years of experience with management of prospecting and list building.
    • Experience working with clients to achieve project goals and manage expectations.
    • Experience with common office and productivity software applications.

    Other requirements

    • You must be highly presentable, detail-oriented, punctual, and personable.
    • Strong ability to learn on the job and pick up new tasks and workflows quickly.
    • Past experience working in residential/commercial real estate sales is a strong plus.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience working with CRMs such as Hubspot or Salesforce.
