Description

Role : Senior Accountant

Location : Wilmington, DE

Pay : $ $80000 / year

Responsibilities:

Prepare reconciliations of all bank accounts and balance sheet accounts on monthly basis
Post and reconcile revenue from Sale systems to Accounting System and ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP
Post and reconcile government funds and grants in Accounting System and responsible for government/foundation grant AR management
Post and reconcile payroll from payroll system to Accounting System
Maintain fixed asset tracking and post depreciation on monthly basis
Support the monthly close process, including posting recurring and adjustment journal entries and allocations

Requirements:

Auditor experience/Accounting firm experience
Fixed Asset Schedules/Bank Reconciliation experience
3-5 years of experience in an Accounting role
Degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong GAAP knowledge
