Controls Engineering Co-Op Student (DI10):

Intern / Co-op (Controls Engineering)

Program Requirements:

Full-time: A student who works more than 30 hours a week
Part-time: A student who works no less than 19.9 hours a week, but between 20 and 29.9 hours.


Responsibilities:


  • Support Operations and Controls Engineering teams in a highvolume manufacturing environment through handson activities
    related to the validation and documentation of engineering changes
    :
  • Complete engineering assignments associated with process changes and improvements
    and accurate traceability data collection
  • Assist experienced engineers with engineering analysis and support engineering projects using procedures and engineering principles
  • Participate in team discussions, offering a unique viewpoint based on knowledge and experience
  • Take an active role in projects becoming familiar with machine controls and ZF processes and procedures
  • May prepare simple technical documentation or reports to assist with ongoing engineering projects
  • Prepare engaging presentations, summaries and/or process briefs to share with the crossfunctional team and Engineering and Operations Management

Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Experience taking an active role in group activities
  • Understand engineering fundamentals and methods
  • Handson approach
  • Selfmotivated and engaged in every activity

Education:

Currently pursuing an engineering degree with GPA minumum of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.


ZF Mesa Operations screening process includes a substance abuse screening test, ATF lifetime background check, and verification of eligibility for employment.


U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status Required.
