- Help develop technical strategy and oversee production of technical work products.
- Coordinate with project team members and clients.
- Interpret and analyze field and laboratory data.
- Oversee the preparation of technical reports, data tables, specifications, and other deliverables.
- Serve as an Engineer-of-Record.
- Manage projects both financially and technically.
- Manage and supervise staff engineers and scientists.
- Prepare proposals and project budgets.
- Secure and develop clientele and serve as primary client manager.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience (focus specifically related to solid waste) and a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering or 8 years relevant experience (focus specifically related to solid waste) and a MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Possess Professional Engineering Licensure for the states in the region or the ability to secure such within 6 months.
- Strong attention to detail with a solid understanding of solid waste permitting, design, and operations.
- Experience in landfill design/permitting, stormwater management, leachate and landfill gas management, geotechnical and groundwater engineering, geosynthetics, and associated construction.
- Knowledge of transfer station, recycling facility, and leachate treatment operations.
- Strong organizational, supervisory, mentoring, and time management skills combined with the flexibility to work with shifting priorities.
- Client-service orientation with the ability to anticipate needs and deliver to meet expectations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Work well as a team member, with a collaborative communication style.

We are looking for a skilled, resourceful, and collaborative solid waste professional with strong business ties in Colorado to join our Solid Waste team as a Senior Project Manager. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for developing and securing project work to grow the firm's solid waste presence in the region and for managing a team of engineers and scientists to support the project work. This leadership position will contribute to the overall growth of the firm and can lead to firm ownership for the right individual. This is a fast-paced and dynamic position, with opportunities to be challenged, contribute to project outcomes, interact routinely with project Principals, and grow professionally.
