    Job Summary

    Aids in the maintenance of effective regulatory relations with the Federal Reserve and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and compliance program for RBC ongoing supervision, continuous monitoring, and exams.

    Job Description

    What is the Opportunity?

    You will aids in the maintenance of effective U.S. regulatory relations with the Federal Reserve and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and compliance program for RBC's prudential regulator ongoing supervision, continuous monitoring, and exams.

    What will you do?

    Regulatory Engagements (Requests, Meetings, and Exams)

    • Manage the receipt, response, and follow-up for regulatory engagements related to RBC.
    • Field verbal and written requests from various regulatory agencies, including engagements initiated by regulatory agencies.
    • Work closely with key internal stakeholders and subject matter experts engaged in regulatory activities to develop and maintain relationships.
    • Identify and escalate emerging issues and trends associated with regulatory engagements and areas prioritized by regulatory bodies to management.
    • Act as secondary Exam Coordinator for Federal Reserve and OCC exams.
    • Manage technical enhancements and expansion of the department's regulatory engagement recordkeeping system, as applicable.
    • Manage the creation, enhancement, and reporting of department's metrics reporting.
    • Assist in the management of direct contact with regulators.
    • Assist in facilitating and summarize regular meetings with regulators.

    Internal Reporting

    • Prepare, summarize, and streamline reporting that communicates regulatory engagement activity and issues.
    • Support enterprise-wide reporting programs, such as RegComp, by providing stakeholders relevant regulatory engagement updates.
    • Serve as a point of contact for regulatory engagement reporting, including collecting updates, obtaining reporting approvals, and managing reporting related questions.
    • Aid in the creation and maintenance of metrics reporting detailing U.S. Regulatory Relations themes and trends in regulatory engagements.

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Complete special projects, as assigned.
    • As required, create and maintain department documentation, including manuals, training materials, and communications.
    • Participate in regulatory audits, as necessary.

    • Effective organization skills, including the ability to prioritize between tasks and deadlines
    • Ability to interact with senior management and in team setting
    • Attention to detail and accuracy are essential
    • Solid Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, as well as general Microsoft Office skills

    The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $65,000 - $100,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
