Missouri Ozarks Community Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center with the goal of providing high- quality health care services accessible to all.
We operate six medical, dental, and behavioral health clinics in south-central Missouri located in Ava, Gainesville, Mansfield, Mountain Grove, Cabool, and Houston.
Our team has provided care to patients since 1997 and continues to grow and expandWe are currently accepting applications for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team.
As the CFO, you will be responsible for managing the overall accounting functions, financial analysis and management, facilitating the annual financial audit, and all other federal, state, and financial regulatory reporting requirements.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A.
Implement and enforce the organization's financial strategies
B.
Assist in developing growth strategies for alternative revenue sources
C.
Management of the organization's accounting, billing, grants management, and IT functions
D.
Prepare and present the monthly financial statements
E.
Facilitate the annual financial audit and provide all supporting documentation requested
F.
Prepare and submit the IRS Form 990
G.
Prepare and approve the annual Medicare and Medicaid cost reports
H.
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the organization's internal controls
I.
Responsible for creating and enforcing internal audit procedures
J.
Responsible for updating and maintaining all accounting and billing policies
K.
Monitors and improves the organization's revenue cycle management (RCM)
L.
Responsible for routine and annual financial grant reporting
M.
Provides data analysis, projections, and/or other reporting, as needed
N.
All other duties as assigned by the
CEO
QUALIFICATIONS:
A.
Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited university required
B.
A minimum of five years of accounting experience required, preferably in the healthcare field
C.
A minimum of three years of leadership and/or management experience required
D.
A strong working knowledge of current generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
E.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
F.
Detail oriented and has the ability to multi-task
G.
The ability to work well with others in a team environment
Ability to hear, speak, see, walk, kneel, bend, and lift 25 pounds.
