Job Description

Salary Range: $68,000 - $78,700

Position Summary

Responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate control procedures.

Essential Functions

Perform pre-period close reviews.
Open/close general ledger modules, as necessary.
Process electronic bank statements.
Post journal entries.
Post bad-debt provisions.
Manage inventory valuation bookings.
Manage asset depreciation.
Manage FX currency revaluations.
Manage tax payables/expenses.
Prepare and review financial statements.
Close previous accounting periods in the general ledger.
Complete all post-closing activities.
Complete year-end general ledger closing activities.
Perform general ledger asset management activities, as necessary.
Retained finance activities.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Highly detailed oriented and organized in work
Analytical and reasoning skills for preparing variance analysis
Strong understanding of accounting theory
Strong computer skills using a variety of software programs
Strong leadership to assist, lead projects from start to finish
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Business writing skills
Proficiency with email and office applications

Education / Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting.
5+ years of accounting/finance experience
