The Savings Banks Association of Lower Saxony (SVN) represents the interests of the Lower Saxony savings banks in all aspects relevant to savings banks. The association's range of services includes important consulting and control tasks, as well as collaboration with other companies in the savings bank financial group.

The Audit Office is an independent institution of the Savings Banks Association of Lower Saxony. It is the statutory auditor of the member savings banks of the SVN. The Audit Office conducts independent and responsible audits of the savings banks' annual financial statements, as well as compliance with organizational obligations, risk situation, information technology, securities services and custody business, and compliance with anti-money laundering regulations.
