    Description
    About the Job: The company Jacobs Lone Wolf Team is looking for a dedicated Network Engineer, Senior to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting, operating, and maintaining the Distributed Continuity Integrated Network - Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES). This network is a vital communication platform that enables collaboration among senior leaders and key staff.
    Your Impact:
    - As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the global communication network.
    - You will work alongside a diverse team of contractors and government personnel to provide support for various information systems operations activities.
    - Your responsibilities will include analyzing new hardware requirements, designing network communications systems, and staying updated on technological advancements.
    Responsibilities:
    • Perform as a senior-level contributor with expertise in networking, communications, and related software/hardware.
    • Support a wide range of customers within a complex team environment.
    • Analyze and develop new hardware requirements and prepare specifications.
    • Design and plan network communications systems.
    • Stay current on technological developments and evaluate vendor products.
    • Implement and maintain DISA STIG requirements.
    • Provide engineering support to the Network Operations Center.
    What You'll Need:
    • Must have active Top Secret clearance with SCI.
    • At least 10 years of experience.
    • Ability to meet or exceed DODD 8140/8570 IAT Level 3 requirements.
    • Experience with a broad range of Cisco products.
    • Understanding of internetworking routing protocols and technologies.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of IP telephony systems.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Preferred:
    • Demonstrated technical expertise in network and computer hardware and software.
    • Extensive experience with network architecture development and design.
    • Hands-on experience with network monitoring and fault management tools.
    • Experience with IT checklists and standard operating procedures.
