Description
The Director of Business Operations leads the team providing financial, administrative, and logistical support for the Campus Services' division.This includes work outcome analysis, financial forecasting and modeling, productivity reporting, inventory management, payroll and human capital management, contracts, and job cost accounting.
The Director develops and oversees all accounting, budgeting, procurement, accounts payable, payroll and time and attendance information and reporting for all Campus Services departments in a 24/7 environment.
This position supervises assigned employees, both direct and indirect. Participates in formulating and implementing strategic financial decisions for Campus Services. Assists with projecting, allocating and adjusting staffing levels and organizational structure to meet changing conditions.Assists in development of policies and procedures that impact all areas of operations for Campus Services or that may impact the University Community as customers of Campus Services.
Makes presentations to university departments and other outside constituents on related topics.Represents the Campus Services as assigned on university committees and acts as a liaison between the university and outside vendors on behalf of Campus Services.
