- Must have an Accounting or Finance Bachelor's degree. Masters degree and CPA preferred.
- Three years of work experience with working knowledge of finance, accounting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Commercial Real Estate experience preferred.
- Experience with Yardi system not required but preferred.
- Strong computer literacy skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be an entrepreneurial "take‐charge" individual, who is results oriented with strong business acumen.
- Must have a "whatever it takes" attitude.
- Assist in the monthly close process by preparing and or reviewing
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Journal entries
- Close folders
- Sales tax returns
- Management fees
- Reconciling intercompany accounts
- Compliance packages
- Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Be able to read, interpret and abstract loan and lease documents.
- Participate in due diligence projects for potential acquisitions.
- Participate in compliance with local, state, & federal tax reporting.
- Work closely with the management team to help achieve goals.
- Ad hoc projects and financial analysis.
