    Parmenter is a fully integrated real estate investment, management, and development firm. We are searching for Property Accountant that is ready to take the next step in their career.

    Requirements:

    This position is ideally suited for a well organized individual who can work independently and is detailed oriented. The individual must be able to cope and thrive in a constantly changing environment.

    • Must have an Accounting or Finance Bachelor's degree. Masters degree and CPA preferred.
    • Three years of work experience with working knowledge of finance, accounting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
    • Commercial Real Estate experience preferred.
    • Experience with Yardi system not required but preferred.
    • Strong computer literacy skills.
    • Must be detail oriented.
    • Must be an entrepreneurial "take‐charge" individual, who is results oriented with strong business acumen.
    • Must have a "whatever it takes" attitude.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Assist in the monthly close process by preparing and or reviewing
    • Monthly bank reconciliations
    • Journal entries
    • Close folders
    • Sales tax returns
    • Management fees
    • Reconciling intercompany accounts
    • Compliance packages
    • Preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements.
    • Be able to read, interpret and abstract loan and lease documents.
    • Participate in due diligence projects for potential acquisitions.
    • Participate in compliance with local, state, & federal tax reporting.
    • Work closely with the management team to help achieve goals.
    • Ad hoc projects and financial analysis.
