    The CM Analyst will execute procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet company standards and end-user requirements. The Analyst will ensure proper Configuration Management (CM) processes are followed and assist in coordination of testing for internal and external MSR systems. The Analyst will document all problems and work to resolve them, reporting progress on problem resolution to management.

    Essential Functions for this role include:

  • Authorize and/or effectuate the movement of software items through the system test, acceptance, stage, and production phases.
  • Effectuate production deployments a few times a month, as early as 4:30 a.m . and as late as 9:00 p.m.
  • Ensure requirements are implemented and review change activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.
  • Create change management agenda, reports, and schedule and facilitate change advisory board meetings.
  • Assist with preparation for Audits.
  • Responsible for overall Configuration Management objectives, including ensuring policies and procedures are followed; reviewing high-risk IT projects during project life cycle, and confirming the requirements and objectives of the user and IT are defined and documented.
  • Develop/refine/update CM standards and procedures as necessary.
  • Develop, monitor, and review CM reporting and dashboards.
  • Participate in organizing and coordinating MSR testing for 3rd party strategic partners code releases.
  • Aide in reconciling incidents and corrective release items for 3rd party strategic partners' (SS&C) systems.
  • Work additional mandatory hours as required.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • Three to five years' experience
  • Exp. w/Configuration and Change management, QA, and System testing processes
  • 3+ years relevant IT Configuration and Release Management experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with LAN-based systems
  • Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM
  • Knowledge of NetWare, Windows, and Unix operating systems
  • Version Control Tools – Strong familiarity with software configuration management systems.
  • Knowledge of testing tools
  • Microsoft Office
  • Experience facilitating Change Advisory Board meetings
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Experience with Salesforce
