Description

Job Title: Data Management Specialist

Company: Navy Shipbuilding Inc.

Position Description:

Receive, track, and circulate contract data deliverables for review and update statuses in NAVSEA IDE
Support monitoring contractor compliance with contract terms and conditions (Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL))
Review accuracy of contractor deliverables and relevant tracked data
Use shipbuilder Integrated Data Environments (IDEs) to retrieve documents for review and alert relevant review teams
Draft CDRL Approval/Rejection recommendations based on reviewer input
Identify, coordinate, and expedite action items for Data Management processing
Maintain CDRLs in NAVSEA IDE and share with managers to meet processing deadlines and metrics
Participate in meetings, take minutes, and manage action items
Perform assigned duties and attend shipbuilder monthly meetings
Create and share training materials on Navy Program Data Management procedures
Assist in monitoring, tracking, and documenting updates to ILS deliverables
Support ILS Managers and ILS Deputy in Quality Assurance on CDRL reviews
Provide necessary Metrics

Basic Qualifications:

US Citizenship
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Management, or equivalent
Two or more years of business analysis experience
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
Experience in Acquisitions and CDRL management
Attention to detail and effective communication
Experience with Navy Data Management and Configuration Management Procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Navy Shipbuilding Programs and CDRL management
Experience with Navy Integrated Logistics Support
Prior military experience
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
