Position Title: Operations Manager

Location: San Jose, CA

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in San Jose, CA. Our company specializes in professional tree and lawn services, as well as organic lawn care. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality service delivery, and lead a team of skilled professionals. This role requires excellent leadership, organizational skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate daily operations for tree and lawn services and organic lawn care.
Ensure all services are performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Oversee scheduling and dispatching of crews for service appointments.
Lead, train, and mentor a team of technicians and support staff.
Conduct regular team meetings to ensure clear communication of company goals and objectives.
Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and implementing improvement plans as needed.
Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly.
Oversee the resolution of customer complaints and service issues.
Maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure consistent service delivery.
Conduct site inspections and audits to verify compliance with company standards.
Develop and enforce safety protocols and guidelines.
Manage inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies.
Coordinate maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure operational readiness.
Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the operations department.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote services.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the lawn care, landscaping, or tree services industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency in using operations management software and tools.
Knowledge of industry-specific safety regulations and best practices.
Full-time position based in San Jose, CA.

Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.

Pay Details: $32.00 to $35.00 per hour
