    Business Operations at Sift has two primary responsibilities

    Standing up the operational processes and analytics to measure change.

    We work with teams to improve operational processes and build in the data-capture and analytics reporting to ensure changes for the long term.

    Special projects.

    We are frequently pulled into high-priority problems that must be solved but do not fall neatly into the purview of an existing person's job description.

    Much of the time, both of these go hand-in-hand.

    As a Business Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting these responsibilities.

    Although the BizOps team will be your primary team and you'll report to the Office of the CEO, you will often work directly with the business, collaborating cross-functionally with leaders and teams across the organization to solve complex problems, establish new processes, capture and analyze data, and empower others to do the same.

    What You'll Do

    Own operational projects end-to-end, from Definition, Solution, to Implementation. You will be handed ambiguous, messy problems with little prescription on how to solve them. If this does not excite you, this is not the role for you.
    Execute scrappy analyses on short timelines to get answers quickly, while also owning more scalable projects that will make Sift successful in the long term
    Experience in working with cross-functional teams with differing priorities;
    Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills;
    Demonstrated success in developing new processes and improving existing ones;
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and willingness to operate with flexibility

    Required Qualifications

    You have 1+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, internal operations, or business analyst role
    You lean into acknowledging your weaknesses and take the idea of feedback and growth
    You get energy from being a thought partner for others and it excites you to spend time translating operational problems into data problems and then going and executing them
    You are self-driven and relentlessly proactive.
    You don't wait on others to solve problems. You proactively step into the gap to offer solutions yourself.
    You have strong analytical aptitude.

    You intuitively think about problems in terms of numbers and data models, and you can quickly execute analyses in Excel.

    You are comfortable communicating broadly and having a lot of eyes on your work.
    U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data.


    In this role, you understand business processes, technical solutions, financial data, and business impacts to participate in and lead various strategic work efforts.

    You will lead, guide, and participate in cross-functional meetings, working sessions, etc., and communicate/advance the conversations to accomplish the goals/priorities of the work.

    You will explain and advise on work at different levels depending on the audience. You build and maintain relationships within the organization in support of our strategic goals and objectives.

    US Salary Range

    $85,000—$125,000 USD

    The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.

    Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.

    Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers and are considered part of Sift's total compensation package.
