- Assist the BH Director and Community Research Coordinator on client and data projects.
- Prepare and complete client charts on intake and readmission.
- Run quality assurance checks on client documentation to ensure compliance with funding guidelines and eligibility requirements.
- Assist with inputting client data and documentation into the agency's electronic databases.
- Coordinate data flow between agency's database as needed.
- Assist with insurance claims for Behavioral Health Department.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on data to ensure accuracy and eliminate deficiencies or errors.
- Assist with the collection and compiling of statistical data.
- Build and/or maintain various agency tracking spreadsheets.
- Assist with the coordination and support of on-site audits conducted by third parties.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, typing, scanning, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
- Maintain client records.
- Perform additional duties as needed and assigned. Duties are subject to change.
- Contribute to a safe, creative, enthusiastic, and cooperative working environment for all.
- Work as a team with other staff and support team members.
- Participate in agency committees.
- Maintain appropriate professional and ethical standards while serving as a representative of HHHRC.

- Comply with HHHRC confidentiality policy, HIPAA requirements, cultural competencies, and rights to persons served, as well as CARF standards.

- High School Diploma/GED.
- Two (2) or more years of relevant administrative and/or data entry experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Extensive knowledge of HIV/AIDS and human sexuality, as well as culturally appropriate educational and outreach strategies directed at the target population.
- Extensive knowledge of sexual health and harm reduction practices to reduce the individual risk of HIV/STI transmission.
- Knowledge of core public health competencies.
- Valid Hawaii Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract.

Job DescriptionHawai'i Health & Harm Reduction Center (HHHRC) provides harm reduction-focused services to marginalized populations in Hawai'i, including people living with and/or affected by HIV, hepatitis, substance use, homelessness, and the transgender, LGBQ, and the Native Hawaiian communities. HHHRC bridges gaps and helps individuals access essential resources such as housing, health care, entitlements, and treatment. We foster health, wellness, and systemic change in Hawai'i and the Pacific through outreach, care services, advocacy, training, prevention, education, and capacity building.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Behavioral Health Administrative Specialist will provide support in ensuring efficient operation of the Behavioral Health Department. This position will assist with administrative projects such as data entry, maintenance of client records, generating of client and program reports, and other day-to-day office related tasks.
This is a permanent, full-time, non-exempt, hourly position with HHHRC located in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. Expected hours of work are generally between 8:30am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with some evening and weekend attendance for required events. Salary is commensurate with experience.
