    Description

    Success Profile:

    The Associate Designer, Cut & Sew Knits assists in the creation and design of a competitive fashion product line that strikes a balance between relevant commercial products and brand-right emotional fashion, that will collectively grow the business according to the brand's strategic and financial objectives for the customer.

    Responsibilities:

    • Creates sketches for development
    • Proficient in both illustrator flat sketches and hand sketches on a figure
    • Creates CAD presentations for internal and external use with speed and accuracy
    • Knowledge of cut & sew knits
    • Creates and maintains charts for overseas sample requests.
    • Communicates daily with factories for ongoing Product Development
    • Sample Prep for meetings and/or market
    • PLM data entry to create BOM's for production

    Qualifications:

    • BA in Fashion Design
    • 3+ years of industry experience with a focus on cut & sew knits
    • Graphic tee knowledge is a plus
    • Experience in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop CS, MS Excel, and MS Office Suite
    • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
    • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Working Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator

    The pay range for this position is $28.85 per hour/$60k per year (Annualized salary is based on a 40 hour work week)- $36.06 per hour/$75k per year (Annualized salary is based on a 40-hour work week).
