Responsibilities:


  • Create b/w technical sketches and detailed tech packs and trim sheets following designers instructions.
  • Assist designers in design process, trend research, sourcing fabrics and more as needed while understanding target customer and price point.
  • Responsible for production and development approval process working alongside senor designer and design director: lapdips, fabric and yarn submits, trim submits, bulk fabric approvals and more as needed. Communicating comments to overseas factories and keeping organized logs.
  • Meet all deadlines in adherence to the seasonal design calendar.
  • Assist in maintaining timesheets, and style overviews for each season.
  • Sample and fabric coordination, tracking and requests.

Qualifications:


  • 35 years experience
  • Bachelors degree in apparel design with a focus on women's sportswear (woven, tailoring, cut & sew knits, sweaters)
  • Thorough knowledge of fabric, garment construction and specs
  • Proficiency in illustrator, Photoshop and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced enviormment
  • Simparel knowledge is a plus

Pay:
$65, $75,000.00 per year
