    Description

    Are you a detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal with a passion for supporting legal teams in corporate and transactional matters? LaSalle Network has partnered with a financial services company on the Northshore of Chicago to hire a Corporate Paralegal. This role will report directly to the General Counsel and have exposure to c-suite.

    Corporate Paralegal Responsibilities:

    • Conduct initial review of nondisclosure agreements
    • Assist with document preparation, review, recordkeeping and file management
    • Coordinate with outside counsel, operating companies, registered agents and service providers
    • Prepare and file various legal documents including entity formations, amendments, annual reports and more
    • Create and maintain spreadsheets, tables and organization charts
    • Track and report entity and transaction-related information internally
    • Respond to information requests
    • Handle receipt and response to SOPs and subpoenas
    • Conduct conflict checks and draft disclosure schedules

    Corporate Paralegal Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 2+ years of corporate paralegal experience
    • Experience reviewing non-disclosure agreements
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
    • High attention to detail
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Capacity to work both independently and within a team environment
    • Effective communication skills with all levels of management and colleagues
