    Description

    Candy Pros is an established leader in the distribution of candy to the confectionary market, and raw materials to manufacturers in the edible and nutraceutical industry.

    In the confectionary industry, we focus on creating new and exciting products for the market. We are inventors.

    In the nutraceutical industry, we specialize in producing undosed gummy candy and candy base to the THC/CBD gummies market and edible makers. Our products allow our clients to take control of their gummy product development.

    Candy Pros is growing quickly, with a laser-focused, collaborative, small-company culture. We are a small company doing big things.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Content Creation: Develop and manage high-quality content for various platforms, including the company website, blog, newsletters, and social media channels. Oversee photography for the website and social media, ensuring visual consistency and appeal.
    • Email Marketing: Devise and execute email marketing strategies, including creating topics, drafting content, and managing campaigns to engage and grow our subscriber base.
    • Public Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers. Write and distribute press releases, and proactively pitch stories to gain media coverage.
    • Freelance Management: Source, hire, and manage freelance professionals such as photographers, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.
    • Social Media Management: Oversee all interactions on social media platforms, including running and maintaining the TikTok shop and facilitating the Facebook Group. Handle customer service inquiries and sales issues by directing them to the appropriate team members.
    • Sales Materials: Create and maintain line sheets and other sales materials to support the sales team.
    • Strategy Presentation: Present marketing strategies to the CEO, COO, and other team members to ensure alignment with company goals.
    • Thought Leadership: Develop and position thought leadership personas for company leaders, enhancing their presence and influence within the industry.
    • Market Trends: Identify and analyze market trends, sharing insights with the team weekly to inform strategic decisions. Disseminate trend information company-wide.
    • Brand Identity: Help develop and maintain the company's voice, brand identity, and tone across all marketing efforts.
    • Website Management: Assist in keeping the company website updated with fresh content and ensure it reflects the brand accurately.
    • Tradeshow Management: Develop the tradeshow booth experience and attend tradeshows with the team to promote the brand and products.
    • Customer Testimonials: Gather and promote customer testimonials to build trust and credibility with potential customers.
    • Story Pitching: Interview team members and pitch compelling stories to media outlets to enhance brand visibility.
    • Data Mining: Assist in datamining marketing lists to identify new opportunities for targeted marketing efforts.
    • Google Ads Management: Plan, execute, and manage Google Ads campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
    • Third-Party Shopping: Manage third-party shopping channels to maximize product exposure and sales.
    • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and maximizing ROI.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the food and confectionary industry.
    • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient in marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Adobe Creative Suite).
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Creative thinker with a passion for marketing and branding.
