    Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.

    A school near Orange, New Jersey is searching for a contracted, on-site, part-time Special Education Teacher (SPED) for the summer school session. We are looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable candidate interested in a part-time position, about 22.5 hours per week.

    About the Position:

    • July 1, August 2, 2024
    • Monday - Friday, 8:15 am - 12:45 pm
    • Part-time / 22.5hours a week
    • Pay Rate: Between $30 - $43 an hour, depending on previous experience
    • Caseload: Multiple disabilities caseload, specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process

    About the Responsibilities:

    • Create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
    • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans to accommodate varying learning styles.
    • Monitor and track student progress; communicate progress to parents, guardians, and other stakeholders.
    • Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes student engagement, motivation, and self-confidence.

    About You:

    • Must have a valid New Jersey Special Education License
    • Must have Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education, or related field
    • Must have previous experience
