$85,000.00 To 95,000.00 AnnuallyJob DescriptionAccounting ManagerReports to: ControllerClassification: ExemptSUMMARYThe Accounting Manager will manage general accounting and financial processes of our company and be responsible for all daily accounting tasks. The individual will perform financial transactions and post them in the general ledger, with strong attention to detail and will also carry out relevant administrative duties (e.g. responding to internal clients via email and phone calls). The Accounting Manager also provides management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESDaily cash reportingMonth-end cash reconciliations & treasury functionsRecord Insurance allocationsRecord intercompany allocationsRecord fixed assetsMonth End close dutiesWork with Controller to build necessary month end close packages for private equity backersWork with Controller on M&A activities including analysis and acquisition accounting entriesAccounts Payable approvalsPrepare documents for tax returns and audits (as needed)General ledger reconciliationsQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSBachelor's degree in accounting or financeMinimum of 3-5 years directly related workPreferred 2-4 years of accounting experience at a Big 4 firmPreferred CPA or CMA designationGreat analytical skills with attention to detailExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficient skills in Microsoft SuiteAbility to communicate effectively with management and other departmentsFamiliarity with accounting and corporate finance principles and proceduresAbility to multitask, prioritize and organize efficientlyEXPECTED HOURS OF WORKAble to work an agreed upon standard scheduleTRAVEL - OTHERTravel to domestic Trilogy facilities when necessary (less than 10%)Must have a current, valid driver's licenseAble to be insurable under our company's liability insurance policyWORK CONDITIONSPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
