    Description

    Sign-on bonus and relocation reimbursement available

    The Clinical Educator/Registered Nurse will function as unit educator, master teacher, master preceptor, and facilitate evidenced-based research into specialized areas of nursing. They will utilize their expertise as a practitioner to incorporate nursing processes into the plan of care for a specialized group of patients. Additionally, this role will provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care within clinical protocols, and will ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies, procedures and guidelines.

    • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
    • 18 months directly related experience
    • RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 90 days
    • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 6 months of hire

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
    • Bilingual English/Spanish
    • 2 years specialty area experience
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification within 6 months of hire

    Working Conditions:

    • Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work
    • Potential exposure to chemicals and bio hazardous materials (requiring PPE)
