    Description

    **Member Service Representative**

    Member Service Representative The successful candidate will become fully cross-trained in all member service activities and be willing to assist as necessary to ensure full coverage and excellent member service as staffing needs require. Additionally, the candidate will be willing to assist with a variety of special projects and tasks as needs arise. Such effort may require the successful candidate to work as part of a small group or independently.

    An individual that will find success in this role will offer the following:

    **Qualifications**

    A high-school degree and/or significant relevant work experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the essential responsibilities of the position is required.

    Desire and ability to learn, with initiative to act and operate independently.

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other common computer skills (browser, etc.).

    Ability to deal effectively, professionally, and pleasantly with internal team members, members of the Credit Union and members of the communities we serve.

    Willingness to work cooperatively and effectively on projects with others while promoting a team environment.

    Maintain a professional appearance and possess a positive attitude.

    The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, as well as bend or move to reach within various storage cabinets at floor level.

    **Essential Responsibilities (Not all-inclusive):**

    Become/remain familiar with Pittsford FCUs product, policies, and procedures; serve as a role model for the rest of the organization in utilizing that insight on a daily basis. Assist in processing member service inquiries, transactions, and special requests. Serve as an example of the ideal Member Service Representative.

    Become/remain familiar with Pittsford FCUs back-office products and services; serve as a role model for the rest of the organization in utilizing that insight on a daily basis. Assist in processing member service inquiries, transactions, and special requests.

    Thoroughly embrace, and through everyday actions, embody, PFCUs Five Core Values, and lead others to do the same.

    Additional tasks and projects as they may arise.
