- Researching the size of the market, cost of goods or pricing models.
- Establishing collaborative relationships with industry.
- Identifying external entities with interest in research area(s) and developing research partnerships.
- Identifying technologies best commercialized by a spin-out company or startup.
- Train and empower researchers to transition their discoveries into high-impact, real world technologies in the private sector, and establish a process for transferring and disseminating transportation related scientific information to stakeholders who may apply it for private and public use.
- Research transition services include conducting market assessment of the state-of-the-practice, identifying gaps needed to further the subject, identification of key stakeholders, and potential challenges
- A person knowledgeable in moving research to practice relating to transportation community.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience experience.
- Ability to work onsite.
