    Description
    Import and Export Freight Forwarding Specialist

    Position Type:
    Full-time

    With a commitment to excellence, we specialize in managing air and ocean shipments to ensure seamless transportation for our valued clients.


    Responsibilities:
    Coordinate and supervise import and export shipments via air and ocean freight, adhering to strict timelines and quality standards.

    Oversee the full track and trace process to maintain transparency and visibility throughout the supply chain, utilizing advanced tracking systems.

    Manage documentation and compliance requirements for international shipping, including customs brokerage, to facilitate smooth customs clearance.
    Utilize CargoWise system for efficient management of logistics operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.
    Handle a variety of cargo types, including general cargo and hazardous materials (hazmat), while ensuring compliance with TSA regulations.

    Collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure the smooth execution of shipments and resolve any issues or delays promptly.

    Stay abreast of industry regulations, trends, and best practices to optimize operational efficiency and provide proactive solutions.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    Minimum of 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, with a focus on international air and ocean freight.
    Proficiency in CargoWise or similar freight management software to streamline operations.
    Strong understanding of customs brokerage processes and regulations to facilitate smooth customs clearance.
    Experience handling general cargo and hazmat shipments, with TSA qualifications preferred.
    Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to effectively manage logistics operations.
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
