Meta is seeking an experienced tax professional who is results-oriented, has a successful record of delivering high-quality and timely results, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment.
The successful candidate will have basic to comprehensive knowledge and expertise with domestic multi-state taxation, building and cultivating relationships with business partners at Facebook.
Required Skills:
Payroll Tax Analyst Responsibilities: 1. Reconcile payroll tax accounts for withholding, unemployment and other tax types as required by law 2.
Responsible for working with vendor on compliance filings including unemployment monthly and quarterly, federal and state tax returns, quarterly 941s and W-2s and process amendments for state and local agencies 3.
Research and respond to escalated employee tax cases 4. Research tax notices from state and local agencies to resolve issues in a timely fashion 5.Work on special projects and other duties, as assigned and serve as a back up to other team members 6.
Learns current legislation and regulatory rulings impacting payroll 7. Support Payroll team as needed with tax guidanceMinimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: 8. 3+ years of payroll and/or payroll tax experience in a public, multi-national company 9. Experience working with payroll tax filing systems 10. Experience solving complex multi-state payroll tax issues 11. Communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications: 12. Workday and/or ADP Smart Compliance experience 13.
Experience working independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, as well as to get results through collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external 14.
Experience with remaining organized and multi-task 15. Attention to detail 16. FPC/CPP certification 17. Experience with navigating and researching tax questions via an HCM and Payroll system, preferablyWorkday Public Compensation:
