    Summary
    The Supervisory Medical Support Assistant (Supervisory MSA) offers clerical and administrative support for the Community Care Department, ensuring smooth operations and efficiency. This role involves overseeing work progress, providing on-the-job training, and making necessary adjustments as needed.


    Duties

    • General Description of Assigned Duties: The Supervisory Medical Support Assistant is responsible for performing administrative tasks within various medical settings. This includes maintaining medical records, verifying insurance information, coordinating patient care, and scheduling appointments following established guidelines.
    • Functions or Scope of Assigned Duties: Supervisory MSAs oversee programs and staff at medical centers, ensuring operational efficiency and quality patient care. They evaluate staff performance, resolve issues, make recommendations for improvements, and provide leadership in administrative and clinical matters.
    • Supervisory Controls: The Supervisory Medical Support Assistant works independently within established guidelines, seeking guidance from supervisors only for complex cases. Supervisors provide oversight and direction, ensuring the program's goals are met.

    Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm - Hours may be flexible


    Telework and Alternative Work Schedules: Flexibility in remote work or alternative schedules may be possible based on task comprehension and consistency.
