    Opportunity SummaryThe Client Manager is completely knowledgeable in the business of renewable energy operations (solar, storage, etc.), from a contractual, technical, and financial perspective with a focus on the contractual and financial performance.

    They will be very detail oriented, knowledgeable on contractual and technical details of how renewable assets operate in the field.

    The Client Manger is the first point of contact with assigned customers and will be responsiblewill be responsible for all communications, operations & maintenance, and financial performance (both Bay4's contract and our customers budget) of their assigned customer portfolio and renewable assets.

    Primary DutiesExecuting the Bay4 financial plan and performing on the budgeted financial modelUnderstanding all aspects of the customer agreement(s) with Bay4 and successfully executing those obligationsMaintaining customer and contractual relationship with the portfolio / assets under the Client Managers responsibilityRetention of both customer and contracted facilities, falling under the Client Managers responsibilityScope of Responsibilities (for customer contracts / facilities assigned to Client Manager)


    Responsibility for the customer relationship(s), on assigned accountsP&L responsibility for assigned facilitiesResponsibility for contract renewalsResponsibility for the, agreed upon, customer facility budget and the execution for assigned assetsUnderstand customer contractual obligations.

    Develop a strategy and successfully execute the financial and operational aspects of those obligationsProactively implement measures to improve customer's facility performance (financial/operational)Manage the customer Operations and Maintenance (O&M), Time and Material (T&M), and Master Service Agreement (MSA) agreements, both financial and contractualCoordinate with NAES Distributed Generation Operations (DGO) to execute on contractual obligationsCoordinate with other NAES departments for services as may be requested by the customer (in and out of scope)Other duties as assignedWorking RelationshipsThe position reports to the Chief Client Officer.

    CompensationThe initial compensation will range from $86,400 - $121,000.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in financial and technical renewable asset operationExperience in project/asset management, project controls, scheduling, contracts development and administration, and technical operationNABCEP certification or other component specific solar certifications helpfulSpecific Skills and KnowledgeKey skills include energy management concepts, financial analysis and contract administrationExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essentialDetail oriented, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, extremely professional, and customer service orientedProficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word. etc.)Candidate must be organized, self-motivated and be able to resolve issues within an obligated time frameAbility to coordinate and validate monthly and YTD customer production & maintenance reporting as defined in customer agreements with other departmentsPhysical Requirements and Working ConditionsThis is a hybrid/remote position with some travel requiredScheduled work times will be Monday through Friday with normal working hours being 8:00 am to 5:00 pm local time. These hours may be modified to adjust to the customer portfolio needs. Flexibility, additional hours, and weekends may be required to meet business needs.
    Must have a valid driver's licenseFit for DutyAll employees will participate in the Fitness for Duty Program. This program includes a post-offer drug screening. There are extensive smoking restrictions in and around company offices and facilities.
