    Job DescriptionSalary: Up to 60K (based on experience)

    Job Summary: Manage and Supervise Program Contracts and Staff for BSI's Youth Division.

    Job Duties: Ensures that all services provided follow Federal, State, and local County applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations. Make sure that the program is in alignment with Be Strong International's (BSI) Vision and Mission. Manages the work to ensure the delivery of high-quality services with excellence. Develops and directs customized solutions to individual client needs. Collects

    and analyzes data to appropriately measure program's outcomes and deliverables.

    Experience and Education: Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices. Has authority for personnel decisions (performance, or disciplinary actions) and should have 2 or more direct reports. Requires a bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of experience supervising others and overseeing after school programs.

    Reports to: Reports to Senior Program Executive

    Competencies: Skilled in sharing knowledge and mentoring others. Experienced in task and personnel management. Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Capable of building collaborative partnerships. Detail-oriented with a knack for meeting deadlines and skilled in prioritizing tasks effectively. Possesses Project Management knowledge.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Program Manager will ensure direct reports are properly trained on: Contract Compliance, Program Curriculum, Domestic Violence and Identifying and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect, and every other training mandatory for the program in charge.
    • Program Manager will ensure all staff follow State requirements on reporting child abuse and neglect.
    • Create necessary systems for program management.
    • Create and/or update all forms such as: SOP, Participant Application (intake form), Parent Handbook, Policies & Procedures, and Surveys required by the funder and/or BSI.
    • Update Contract amendments or modifications as needed.
    • Updates 'Continuation Application' for funding renewal, at the end of each program year.
    • Maintain good working relationships with the Contract Managers, program staff, evaluator and curriculum developer, as well as Community Leaders and partners.
    • Work together with the Finance Director and accounting for budget purposes, spending the money allotted by the end of each quarter.
    • Attend all meetings, webinars, workshops, seminars.
    • Ensure that all staff, volunteers, and subcontractors share and have each other's contact info.
    • Give administrative guidance and support to Program Coordinator, Site Supervisors, Instructors/Facilitators, Contracted Professionals, Data Analysts, and Bookkeeper.
    • Coordinate and schedule all the mandatory Program's activities and other events.
    • Ensure Program is properly staffed at all times, including those contracted for Professional Services.
    • Visit program sites as needed.
    • Make sure reports, assessments and other deliverables are done by staff and participants and reported on time.
    • Make sure the Data Department is analyzing all data, catching any errors or omissions on all forms.
    • Regularly meets with his/her team to go over any challenges and come up with strategies.
    • Assist the Executive and Finance Director with ideas for new fundings.
    • Build Community relations to enhance current funding and build linkage to additional services.
    • Complete probationary period and yearly evaluations, if applicable.
    • Complete program observations and curriculum fidelity implementation, if applicable.
    • Responsible for providing PIP (Performance Improvement Plans), Verbal and/or Written Warnings as required.
    • Complete any required training before the deadline (as provided by the onboarding process or your direct coordinator upon hire).
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Have reliable transportation.
    • Able to travel to multiple locations in a single day (sometimes within various counties).[1]
    • Available to work occasional evenings, weekends, overnights, and conduct out of state travel as required.
    • Implement core values for all tasks and activities within the workplace.
    • Under special circumstances, available for work beyond 5:00 p.m. or during office closures as needed.

    Required Experience, Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree required.
    • English language is required (can read, write and speak fluently).
    • Three (3) or more years of experience in related work fields. Non-profit experience is a plus.
    • Leadership skills to lead team members towards achieving a common goal.
    • Excellent self-starter and self-motivated.
    • Proficiency in computer skills and programs such as Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
    • Ability to learn new software and utilize new tools.
    • Time Management skills.
    • Detailed oriented.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
    • Must possess a sense of urgency.
    • Must be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

    Physical Demands:

    This position is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, speak, and hear. The position requires extensive computer use so the employee must have sufficient hand dexterity to use a computer keyboard and be capable of reading a computer screen. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable otherwise qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
