- Building and maintaining containerized infrastructure in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters
- Deploying and configuring DoD-accredited suite of tools via big bang methodology
- Building Software Factories for developers and end users
- Supporting the ongoing lifecycle maintenance of the DevSecOps tool chain
- Architecting and maintaining software / infrastructure build, test, and deployment CI/CD pipelines
- Working daily with Development teams to integrate dependencies and backend components via automated pipelines
- Troubleshooting application deployments to Kubernetes clusters
- Assisting teams with DevSecOps issues related to performance and configuration
- Identifying and implementing improvements to how we securely build, deploy, and monitor software projects
- Provide insight and guidance for the preparation and maintenance of all documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
- Active Secret clearance with ability to upgrade/maintain a Top Secret clearance
- Ability to travel up to 40-50% of time the customer's site
- Able to work 8-5 schedule in Mountain Time
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security.
- Experience with Linux based environments and bash scripting
- Experience with Kubernetes and Helmbuilding, deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting K8s clusters
- Experience with Gitlab and Gitlab CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, from code commits to production
- Experience with Software Engineering and Continuous Delivery and/or DevOps related practices including software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with Git version control
- Experience with Docker, containerization build technologies, and container registries
- Must be detail oriented, critical thinker, possess excellent problem-solving skills
- Desire for continuous improvement and a commitment to best practices
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or any related field/major, or additional years of experience in information technology
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) architecture
- Familiarity with Flux and GitOps practices
- Software developer experience- any background (python scripting - Bash, Shell, PowerShell scripting - version control)
- Expertise applying true DevSecOps practices and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) automation
- Kubernetes Certification (Certified Kubernetes AdministratorCKA)
- AWS Certification (Certified DevOps EngineerAWS-DOP)
- Active Top-Secret clearance

Insight Global is seeking a Secret Cleared DevSecOps Platform Developer for one of our top clients.Our customer's work depends on a Senior DevSecOps engineer joining our team to support a US Air Force program that is playing a major role in strengthening and modernizing America's weapon systems.
You will be developing and delivering a digital engineering design solution that enables and integrates the program's complete set of data, tools, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) activities, and makes them available to internal and appropriate external engineering and programmatic stakeholders throughout the program's lifecycle.
This Senior DevSecOps Engineer position will directly contribute to building and supporting the containerized infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and software factory components of the digital engineering environment.
This position is remote with up to 40-50% travel to the greater Salt Lake City, Utah area.Day to Day
