- Conducting proactive rescue operations and collaborating with local animal control.
- Hosting community workshops and campaigns to promote responsible pet ownership, debunk shelter pet misconceptions, and raise awareness about the benefits of adoption.
- Ensuring successful adoptions through thorough processes, matching pets with suitable families, and providing post-adoption assistance.
- Implementing educational programs targeted at youth in partnership with schools and organizations to nurture empathy and responsibility towards animals, creating a lasting impact on animal welfare.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant marketing experience with a track record of successfully developing and executing multifaceted marketing campaigns that directly benefit the organization's objectives. Familiarity with the animal rescue industry or nonprofit marketing is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional public speaking abilities.
- Proficiency in overseeing comprehensive strategic marketing and communication initiatives, including media interactions, print and digital marketing campaigns, content creation and management on social media platforms, website administration, and supervision of print material design and production.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Capacity to work autonomously and diligently while handling multiple projects concurrently.
- This role may entail working evenings and weekends for special events and activities.
- Devise and implement marketing, public relations, and communication strategies, encompassing social media, print and digital content, and email marketing.
- Forge connections with existing and potential sponsors to aid in accomplishing annual and event-specific fundraising targets.
- Optimize brand awareness, fundraising efforts, and engagement with diverse target audiences by utilizing the organization's digital assets such as the website and social media platforms.
- Proactively discover, develop, and disseminate organizational news, programs, special events, innovations, and narratives to the media.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of Nate's Honor information on external websites like Charity Navigator and Guidestar.
- Develop, execute, and maintain both internal and external communication plans, and sustain consistent and effective messaging through social media, electronic newsletters, website content, and various channels.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to identify internal and external marketing communication prospects and devise strategies that offer solutions.
- Supervise the creation and upkeep of Nate's Honor's signage program, covering property signs, event banners, and digital boards.
- Ensure all promotional materials, marketing content, and communications align with the organization's brand.
- Support Nate's Honor events by creating and implementing marketing materials, handling PR activities and on-site requirements to enhance participation and fundraising outcomes.
- Represent Nate's Honor at professional and community gatherings.
- Perform any other assigned duties as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Specialist for Nate's Honor Animal Rescue in Sarasota, Florida will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies. Since its establishment in 2008, Nate's Honor Animal Rescue has provided a nurturing environment for rescued dogs and cats as they await their forever homes. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Sarasota, Florida, Nate's Honor Animal Rescue is dedicated to animal welfare. With a focus on compassion and responsible pet ownership, the organization actively involves the community through adoption, rehabilitation, and educational initiatives.
