- Managing an existing account base of customers across our authorized territory while simultaneously prospecting for new opportunities within an assigned territory
- Strong emphasis on new business development
- Attaining assigned sales targets for new business vs existing account upgrades
- Strong time management skills with an emphasis on being a self-starter
- Ability to prioritize workload and effectively communicate activity to the executive staff on a recurring basis
- Creation and maintenance of sales pipeline with a rolling 90-day forecast
- Creation and delivery of professional sales presentations / proposals that are tailored to individual client needs
- Demonstrable sales experience managing a territory
- Excellent skills in proposal creation, presentation delivery and cost analysis
- Ability to analyze customer environments to determine the correct mix of products to solve their business challenges beyond hardware implementation
- Commitment to personal development through the completion of assigned training classes (company paid) Account Executive Preferred Skills:
- Solutions / IT Sales background a plus
- MPS / MDS contract selling experience a plus
- 2 years sales experience in closing role
- Valid Driver's License
- Access to your own vehicle
- Ability to travel in assigned territory for daily sales appointments & prospecting
- Possible overnight travel for training classes required
