Key Gas Components is a closely held, family-owned, and operated manufacturing and engineering services company operating a 35,000 sq. ft. facility in Marion, North Carolina and a 50,000 sq. ft. facility in Allegan Michigan. Work schedule - Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm
Responsibilities/daily tasks:
-Customer Service
1. Order Entry
· Receive, review (Materials Manager), enter, and acknowledge customer POs. Scan and link customer POs in ERP. Enter customer part numbers into ERP (xref). Enter customer contact info into GSS.
2. Invoicing
· Post sales to ERP, print and mail invoices. Email copies to sales reps.
3. Customer needs
· Reply to customer calls and emails, schedule expedites, forward RMA's and RFQ's. Convey customer issues to management and sales reps.
4. Disseminate new customer drawings to management and engineering.
-Office Administration
1. Inventory and purchase office supplies.
2. Monitor copier needs. Order supplies, service, or schedule service as needed.
3. Query and post monthly sales to update the Sales History file.
4. Calculate the monthly Sales Commission reports for each sales rep. Email each a copy of the spreadsheet.
5. Query and post sales order booking tracker.
6. Answer door, answer phone. Record all outgoing voicemail messages for the phone system.
7. Liaison for alarm system, copiers, phone system, and postage meter.
8. Keep coffee supplied.
9. Assist and fill in for other departments as needed.
10. Oversee shredding.
11. Order business cards.
-Purchasing
Receive requisitions made through ERP or any other way for MRO items needed.
Place and print POs.
Check for acknowledgements from vendors. Request tracking, expedites, or RMA's as necessary.
Report credit card expenses.
Qualifications
-Must be proficient in MS Office
-Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all
