    Summary:
    - Provide clinical and administrative support in an outpatient clinic setting.
    - Assist providers with patient care activities.
    - Perform tasks under clinical supervision and general direction of the manager/supervisor.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform rooming and intake process, collecting vital signs and patient data.
    • Collect patient and family medical history.
    • Assist provider during treatments, examinations, and procedures.
    • Administer medications and perform phlebotomy.
    • Review patient records for health screenings.
    • Provide patient instructions and educational materials.
    • Maintain exam and treatment rooms.
    • Assist with patient registration, scheduling, and referrals.
    • Handle clinic telephone and assist in emergency situations.

    Other Information

    Education Requirements:
    - Completion of a Medical Assisting program preferred.
    Licensure/Certification Requirements:
    - Certification as a Medical Assistant required.
    - Basic Life Support Certification necessary.
    Professional Experience Requirements:
    - Prior medical assistant experience preferred.
    Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
    - Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Ability to engage positively with patients and work well in a team.
    - Proficient in using electronic medical records.
