- Monitor and process attendance.
- Conduct routine checks and approvals of associate timekeeping systems and perform scheduling comparisons and adjustments.
- Assist with finalizing schedules and monitoring vacation and paid time off usage of associates.
- Assist with preparing and conducting close of payroll each week.
- Compare daily and weekly schedules to actual hours worked.
- Assist with creating and conducting shift and vacation bids in all departments.
- Help develop departmental efficiencies.
- Process various reports for timekeeping, attendance and tracking purposes.
- Interact with various departments to encourage communication of procedures and material dispersion.
- Distribute and audit the return of daily attendance discipline.
- Proficient in establishing and maintaining an effective and positive working relationship with associates.
- Demonstrate overall knowledge of property-wide operations.
- Capable of working in a highly visible and assertive role and respond well under pressure.
- Skillful in relaying departmental knowledge and providing guidance to support staff.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Anticipates problems and recommends solutions.
- Two years in a supervisory position in a casino environment preferred.
