    Cloud Cybersecurity Risk Engineer

    The Opportunity:

Everyone knows security needs to be "baked in" to system architecture, but you know how to bake it in.

You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface.

What if you could use your skills to secure systems for the nation's most specialized DoD agencies? We're looking for a Cloud Cybersecurity Risk Engineer who can create solutions that will stand up to even the most advanced cyber threats.

As a Cloud Cybersecurity Risk Engineer at Booz Allen, you'll research, design, and implement cybersecurity solutions to protect our client's most sensitive information in AWS, Azure, and GCP.

We need to come up with the best solution, so you'll investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going.

You'll manage efforts to provide systems security authorization support and oversee information security activities associated with the deployment of a cutting-edge enterprise cloud solution.

You'll drive security accreditation support and maintain authorization to account for any new capabilities deployed to the enterprise cloud. This is a chance to make a difference in the security of our country's elite warfighters.

Your technical expertise will be vital as you help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating security best practices like identity and access management, encryption, and security analytics.

You'll be able to broaden your skillset into advanced and emerging areas of cybersecurity like container security to support dynamic and immutable cloud infrastructure.

Join our team as we deliver innovative cybersecurity solutions to protect our client's information in the Cloud. Join us. The world can't wait.

Experience with submitting eMASS IATT & ATO packages
Experience with programming languages, including Bash
Experience working with RMF teams to automate and streamline the security process
Experience with assessing the effectiveness of security controls
    Knowledge of the cloud environment
    TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED Nice If

    You Have:
Experience with planning and conducting security authorization reviews and assurance case development for the initial installation of systems and networks
Experience with ensuring that security design and cybersecurity development activities are properly documented, including providing a functional description of security implementation and updates, as necessary
Experience with providing input to the Risk Management Framework process activities and documentation, including system life cycle support plans, the concept of operations, operational procedures, and maintenance training materials
Ability to draft statements of preliminary or residual security risks for system operation
Ability to maintain information systems assurance and accreditation materials
Ability to perform a risk analysis, including threat, vulnerability, and probability of occurrence whenever an application or system undergoes a major change
Ability to verify and update security documentation reflecting the application and system security design features
Ability to ensure that plans of action, milestones, or remediation plans are in place for vulnerabilities identified during risk assessments, audits, and inspections
Ability to support necessary compliance activities to ensure that system security configuration guidelines are followed when compliance monitoring occurs
Ability to set up system-level alerting, including CVE detection Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required
